“Beautiful days, aperitifs with friends, evenings on the terrace well after midnight… happiness for some, but hell for the neighbors. Every day, seven million French people are exposed to very annoying levels of noise. There are regulations, a time limit and a number of decibels that cannot be exceeded. To avoid disputes, Toulouse City Council relies on education. Paris, on the other hand, is much stricter with its unannounced inspections.
